GridGames.ID – In early March, a Github user with the username tostercx, who also uses t0st, claimed to have found a way to reduce GTA online loading times by 70%.

He also released details of a fix that can be downloaded via Github, with a caveat that this fix script is still a draft, not for casual use.

Reporting from PCgamer, they have confirmed Rockstar Games that the solution made by someone who can be categorized as a modder will officially be an update in the future.

Interestingly, this modder wrote a detailed analysis of what makes GTA Online have longer game loading times.

Tostercx says that the slowdown is caused by a single CPU bottleneck when starting GTA Online.

Rockstar Games said after a thorough investigation, they can confirm that the script uses the same aspects of the game’s code.

That way the loading time for the PC version of GTA Online can be increased and this solution will be implemented in the upcoming GTA Online update.
