The Witcher Season 2 Will Arrival New Players

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – The Netflix Original series The Witcher is coming back with a second season. In addition to the main cast such as Henry Cavill, Anya Chalotra, and Freya Allan who return as Geralt from Rivia, Yennefer from Vengerberg, and Princess Cirilla, The Witcher Season 2 will have a new addition of players that will further add to the excitement of this fantasy storyline.

They are Adjoa Andoh (Bridgerton, Silent Witness) as Nenneke, Cassie Clare (Brave New World, The Bisexual, The Irregulars) as Philippa Eilhart, Liz Carr (Silent Witness, Devs) as Fenn, Graham McTavish (Outlander, The Hobbit) as Dijkstra, Kevin Doyle (Downton Abbey, Happy Valley) as Ba’lian, Simon Callow (A Room with A View, Four Weddings and a Funeral) as Codringher, Chris Fulton (Bridgerton, Outlaw King) as Rience.

Previously, The Witcher has also announced new faces that will fill the second season, including Yasen Atour as Coen, Agnes Born as Vereena, Paul Bullion as Lambert, Basil Eidenbenz as Eskel, Aisha Fabienne Ross as Lydia, Kristofer Hivju as Nivellen, Mecia Samson as Francesca, and Kim Bodnia as Vesemir.

The first season concludes with the storyline of Geralt, Ciri, and Yennefer gathering at the Battle of Sodden Hills – Geralt finally meets Ciri, while Yennefer risks her life to defeat Nilfgaard’s forces. Even if Geralt and Ciri finally fulfill their destiny, we don’t know what happened to Yennefer.

The Witcher Season 2 will continue the story with Geralt convinced that Yennefer’s life cannot be saved at the Battle of Sodden Hills. Geralt also brought Princess Cirilla to her childhood home in Kaer Morhen which was considered the safest place. Although the kings, elves, demons, and humans of the Continent fight for power, Geralt must protect Ciri from something even more dangerous, namely the mysterious power that resides within Ciri.

Lauren Schmidt Hissrich returns as showrunner and executive producer, while Stephen Surjik (The Umbrella Academy), Sarah O’Gorman (Cursed), Ed Bazalgette (The Last Kingdom), and Louise Hooper (Cheat) are directing the series.
