The reason why Skywee never tasted the Indonesian Mobile Legends scene
As one of the seniors in the Mobile Legends scene, Skywee arguably has everything to taste the intense competition in Indonesia which is known as the toughest in the world because it is followed by many quality players. However, what makes the 23-year-old player never appear in the country.
Since Mobile Legends became one of the esports numbers, Skywee has taken part in the Malaysia-Singapore (MY-SG) Season 1 Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) with the Louvre SG team.
In addition, Skywee has also defended the EVOS Esports SG and BOOM SG teams throughout his career as a pro player, before now joining Powerplay Divinity Esports as a player/coach.
When contacted by ONE Esports via a messaging application, Skywee admitted that he had received several offers from Indonesian teams. But there is one thing that makes him reluctant to accept the offer.
“I got several offers, but most of the Indonesian teams asked me to stay in Indonesia. That’s what I can’t do. If I want to play in MPL Indonesia or some other big tour, I have to stay there,” he said Skywee.
It is indeed difficult for a foreign player to be part of the Indonesian esports team if he does not live in the country. Because they have to continue to practice and coordinate together which is ideally done close together in the gaming house.
