The International 10 Prize Pool Is Official, Huge Amount! The International 10’s Battle Pass ended on October 9, 2021 yesterday, as well as a sign that the TI 10 prize pool cannot increase again.
Before the end of the TI 10 Battle Pass, the TI 10 prize pool managed to touch the figure of 40 million USD or equivalent to 587 billion rupiah and made Dota 2 as the first esports to have a cash prize pool exceeding $40 Million.
This surpassed the record of The International 9, which at that time had a prize pool of USD 34 million. Battle Pass owners have received a 10-level bonus for reaching that number and Valve will be awarding another ten levels for making it to $40 Million.
Earlier yesterday, The International 10 cash prize exceeded $40 Million USD which was the last target set by Valve at Battle Pass 2021. Then the TI 10 cash prize managed to reach that figure, just 15 minutes before the end of the TI10 Battle Pass and Dota 2 crowdfunding.
Initially, Valve provided $1.6 million for TI 10 cash prizes, and the rest was a donation from TI 10 Battle Pass buyers for 25% of every combat pass and level purchase.

Valve also announced an upcoming update for Dota 2 shortly after the end of the Battle Pass. They plan to release a number of patches, including changes to guilds, a new season of Dota Plus, and a redesigned MMR system in the coming days.
Although Valve did not explain the exact time, it is predicted that these changes in Dota 2 will take effect sometime next week.
