The Goblin King from Manado has the strongest synergy combination to play Auto Chess

Slowly but surely, the autobattler genre game is getting more and more popular with gamers. This is also what made VNG as the publisher of Auto Chess in Southeast Asia to hold the first official tournament for the game titled Auto Chess Indonesia Championship (ACIC) 2021.

This tournament will be participated by 32 players, of which 16 are from the qualifying round organized by their premium partners, one of which is Ligagame. One of the players who made it through the qualification was Edwin “ELVO.Phx” Paat.

Although not widely known, ELVO.Phx is well known among gamers in Manado. In fact, he is the head of the Team ELVO community in North Sulawesi and one of the founders of the The Phoenix clan in Manado which has existed since 2003.

ELVO.Phx managed to qualify for ACIC 2021 after successfully becoming the Auto Chess Ligagame qualifying champion some time ago after successfully outperforming seven other contestants.

Although the autobattler game is relatively new, ELVO.Phx admits that he has been in this genre for a long time, before Auto Chess was first introduced in January 2021 which at that time was still called Dota Auto Chess.

“The first autobattler game I played was Pokemon in Warcraft in 2009 if I remember correctly,” ELVO.Phx told ONE Esports.

“After that I played Dota Auto Chess. But when Auto Chess came to mobile, I often played with friends, made custom rooms, and made bets. When there are tournaments, I often participate and become champions because of hockey,” he said.

With extensive experience in the autobattler genre, ELVO.Phx has a lot of insight in playing so that he can become one of the strongest candidates to be the best at ACIC 2021. However, he still puts the hockey factor as a determinant of victory in the autobattler game, especially at the competitive level.

In terms of synergy, ELVO.Phx, which already has the nickname King of Goblin in Manado, turns out to have the strongest synergy combination which is his main favorite in playing Auto Chess, although he can’t always use this because of the luck factor from the options that appear in the game and as a counter to the game. the majority of opposing synergies.

“In Manado, I was nicknamed the Goblin King because the hockey always appeared when playing Goblin synergy. However, I play Mage-Dragon more often because from Season 1 until now this synergy combination is the most effective and stable,” said ELVO.Phx.

However, when asked about tips and tricks for new Auto Chess players, ELVO.Phx doesn’t seem to have much that can be used as a benchmark. This is again due to the hockey factor that is so influential.

“About the tutorial for new players, you often watch pro players live on YouTube or Facebook, and keep up with the gameplay. If you can play, just multiply hockey to win,” said ELVO.Phx.

Not only in autobattler games, players in all games of course really need hockey or luck to be able to win, especially at a competitive level. The reason is that at the highest level, every player must have really mastered the game and needs “Factor X” to be able to win.
