1. Counter HP Regen or Heal

When Should You Buy NOD or Sea Halberd?
If you fight a very overpowered hero from the early game because of the heal, lifesteal, or shield effects. You should buy this item in your second item after shoes.
Because if you can counter overpowered (OP) heroes with NOD from the beginning of the game you will feel much easier because these OP heroes will have difficulty when farming & war so they will die more often.
For Sea Halberd itself, the price is quite expensive at 2350 compared to 2010’s NOD. So to buy a hero core at first it seems less than optimal.
Now the trick is that you can first buy the cheap version of the item called Deadly Blade (only 1200).
