This program is a form of Tencent’s collaboration with the Chinese Government in overcoming the problem of playing time for children and underage teenagers.

Previously in 2021 the Chinese government had issued a law that limited the freedom of minors to play games.

The law requires game players to register with real names, prohibits children from playing between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m., and limits in-game purchases.

The Chinese government and authorities were forced to step in after the increase in cases of children related to online games.

Starting from teenagers who steal money to Top Up their game account up to spent a lot of time in internet cafe.

This of course raises concerns for parents and the Chinese Government over the physical and mental well-being of young gamers.
