This has been revealed directly by the Immortals through a video upload on their official YouTube account on Tuesday (3/8/2021).

This certainty also made Immortals officially become the fourth North American esports team to decide to enter the Wild Rift esports scene. Previously, several organizations had entered, such as TSM FTX, Cloud9, and Sentinels.

Hoon becomes Immortals’ first Wild Rift pro player

In the Immortals announcement video, Hoon is seen in several spots around Los Angeles, United States, and doing several activities such as walking, eating, playing billiards, and table tennis using one hand while playing Wild Rift.

Together with Immortals, Hoon became the first professional Wild Rift player and will play as a mid laner. Likely, this Wild Rift Immortals team would be formed by making itself the main foundation.

In Wild Rift, Hoon made it to Challenger rank in early 2021 and is synonymous with several champions such as Evelynn, Orianna, and Kennen.

You can also see more about Hoon’s play in Wild Rift via broadcast stream it on Twitch. On the other hand, he also still often plays Mobile Legends which he uploads more on Facebook his YouTube channel.

As is well known, Team Gosu is one of the strongest Mobile Legends teams in North America. Even their prowess in the region made them appear in the 2021 M1 World Championship which was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

At the event, Hoon was not yet a part of Team Gosu which had successfully attracted the attention of the Mobile Legends community, including from Indonesia. At that time the Team Gosu roster contained:

  • Basic (Mage/Fighter/Assassin)
  • Breezy (Tank/Support)
  • General (Marksman/Mage/Fighter)
  • Khenray (Mage/Fighter)
  • Orochi (Support/Tank)
