Spider-Man PS4 Latest Update, Save Files Can Be Transferred to PS5 Remastered Version

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – Insomniac Games has confirmed that Marvel’s Spider-Man save files can be transferred from the PS4 game to the upcoming PS5 remastered version. Previously, Insomniac had insisted that Spider-Man PS4 save files cannot be transferred to PS5 games, in contrast to Miles Morales’ Spider-Man game save data that can be transferred from PS4 to PS5 consoles. This changed after the urging of fans and players of the Spider-Man game on PS4.

“We’ve heard you – in an upcoming update to #SpiderManPS4, we’ll be adding the ability to export your save files to Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered,” Insomniac wrote on its official Twitter account. @insomniacgames.

The latest update will also add three new costumes from Remastered to the PS4 game. This update is scheduled to be released on Thanksgiving or November 26.

Meanwhile, Spider-Man Miles Morales is scheduled to be released on November 12, to coincide with the release of the latest generation console PlayStation 5. Miles Morales Ultimate Edition will come with a download code for Spider-Man Remastered, which also includes all three DLC The City That Never Sleeps. .

Players of the Miles Morales game for the PS4 console can upgrade the game to the PS5 version for free for the standard edition, or for an additional USD 20 for the Ultimate version which includes the remaster. Sony in September said it had no plans to release Marvel’s-Spider-Man: Remastered as a standalone.
