Sony Will Present More PC Ports For Playstation Exclusive Games

GAMEFINITY.ID, Salatiga – Seeing the success of some of their exclusive games being ported to PC, Sony is getting excited to bring more Playstation exclusive games to the PC platform.

Previously, Sony managed to acquire Nixxes Software. Nixxes itself is a game studio known for its competence in making PC ports of console games.

Various games that have been successfully ported by Nixxes Software include Marvel’s Avengers, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, and others.

This intention was further clarified through the comments of Jim Ryan as CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment. Through his interview with Japanese gaming media Famitsu, he revealed Sony’s ambition in releasing more exclusive games to the PC platform.

“We’re also excited about our initial efforts to bring our IP to PC, and we hope Nixxes will help us with that,” said Jim Ryan.

In recent years, Sony has indeed begun to open up in porting some of their flagship games to PC.

Previously Sony planned an exclusive release for Death Stranding. However, seeing the hype and high demand for a PC port, they finally allowed third-party publishers to release Death Stranding on PC.

Days Gone is another game that recently launched for PC after years of being exclusive on the PS4 console. Other Sony IPs that have been released on PC include Detroit Become Human, Horizon Zero Dawn, Heavy Rain, and Beyond Two Souls.

Of course, fans hope that Sony’s intention is to make more and more AAA exclusive games that will be brought to the PC platform such as Spider-Man, God of War series, The Last of Us, and others.
