RRQ CEO Clarifies About Rumors of Dota 2 Roster Acquisition BOOM Esports

GAMEFINITY.ID, Salatiga – A few days ago, Dota 2 fans in Indonesia were shocked by the Insta Story uploaded by the Instagram account of RRQ CEO Andrian Pauline alias AP on Tuesday 18 May 2021. The Insta Story post contained the signing of a contract letter by two high-ranking organizational leaders BOOM Esports and Rex Regum Qeon .

In the Insta Story caption, Andrian Pauline also wrote about a transfer worth 100 billion Rupiah. Suddenly this sparked various speculations from BOOM Esports and RRQ fans. One of the most prominent news is that RRQ will acquire BOOM Esports’ Dota 2 roster.

This news is quite believed by the fans. Because before this news emerged Andrian Pauline insisted that he wanted to reorganize the entire division of the RRQ team. So it does not close the opportunity that RRQ wants to revive the Dota 2 division by acquiring the BOOM Esports roster.

Hearing various confusing news, finally Andrian Pauline spoke through his personal account Insta Story. AP confirms that various rumors regarding the acquisition of the Dota 2 BOOM Esports roster or his transfer to BOOM are not true at all.

“Guys, I want to apologize, yesterday I joked with the CEO of BOOM, Gary (Ongko Putra),”

“There are many questions whether I will leave RRQ, it’s not. Then the Dota team, BOOM, was bought by RRQ or not.” said AP.

The Return of RRQ’s Dota 2 Division

Then AP explained that RRQ had bought one of the Dota 2 players from BOOM Esports. The announcement of the transfer of players further strengthened the news of the return of RRQ’s Dota 2 division. The AP is also quite surprised by the enthusiasm of Dota 2 fans over the widespread acquisition rumors.

“To be more precise, we have bought a Dota player from BOOM, we have made a contract and it has been signed.”

It is still not clear which players among Dreamocel, Mikoto, Fbz, Hyde or Khezcute will move to RRQ. The official transfer news is unlikely to be announced this week considering that BOOM Esports still has to undergo the DPC SEA Season 2 tournament.
