Riot Games Announces Valorant Champions Tour!

2021 will be a big year for the Valorant esports scene, as Riot Games has announced the arrival of the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT)!

The news came through the Valorant Esports Twitter account that was just created on November 24 especially for this tournament.

Basically this competition is a global tournament that will run for one season where teams from North, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia will compete.

This tournament will last all year long before we find the world champion at the end of 2021.

There will be three levels of competition in VCT; Challengers, Masters and Champions.

Team Valorant will participate in the Challenger event, with a chance to qualify for the Master event.

The best team at the Master event will then qualify for the Champions tournament, the highest competition.

It is in this Champions event where we will find out who the world champion Valorant for 2021 is.

When does the Valorant Champions Tour start?

There is currently no confirmation from Riot Games as to when exactly the Valorant Champions tournament will start.

But surely this tournament will start in early 2021 because VCT will take place throughout the year.
