Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Three Missions Details

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – Raven Software has detailed three campaign missions from the game Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. The game, which will be released for PC and consoles, is scheduled to launch on November 13. Cold War itself is a direct sequel to Call of Duty: Black Ops which was released in 2010. In a new blog post on the official Call of Duty website, Raven Senior Creative Director Dan Vondrak provides an overview of the campaign’s three missions: Nowhere Left to Run, Fracture Jaw, and Desperate Measures.

Set in 1982, Nowhere Left to Run is the game’s first mission. Re-introducing the characters Frank Woods and Alex Mason, as well as the new hero Russell Adler, this mission involves a rooftop chase and gunfight in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. A bombastic moment will occur as players track targets at Turkish airfields in a set-piece featuring a radio-controlled car packed with explosives.

The second level of the campaign, Fracture Jaw, takes the form of a flashback to Vietnam where players can pilot a helicopter and engage in ground combat through forests and rice fields. This mission sees the moment when he meets Perseus, a “shadow” figure whose mission is to shake the global balance of power and change the course of history.

In Desperate Measures, players are tasked with going behind enemy lines and infiltrating KGB headquarters as a double agent. Using the latest technology (in the 1980s) including modified civilian equipment and prototype engines, players are given various ways to complete their missions.

As the name implies, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War takes place in the Cold War conflict between the United States and the Soviet Union (Russia). As an elite agent, players are on a mission to follow in the footsteps of a shadowy figure named Perseus who aims to shake the global balance of power and change the course of history. Exclusive to the PlayStation, players can also play Zombies’ two-player co-operative mode called Onslaught. This mode itself can only be accessed by Xbox and PC platform players on November 1, 2021.
