Results of Week 5 of MPL Season 7, Losing to RRQ Hoshi, Onic Still at the Top
GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – Onic Esports had to acknowledge the superiority of defending champion RRQ Hoshi, when they lost 0-2 in the third day match of the fifth week of Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) Indonesia Season 7, Sunday (28/3/2021). Despite being defeated, Onic is still at the top of the standings.
In that match, RRQ Hoshi fielded the line-up of Alberttt, Psychoo, R7, Skylar and Vynnn, while Onic Esports was strengthened by Butsss, CW, Drian, Kiboy and Sanz. This match was a meeting between Alberttt and Sanz as junglers, and Skylar and CW as gold laners.
Playing aggressively and turning off Onic’s movements from the start of the first game, RRQ Hoshi put a lot of pressure on Sanz. Pscychoo managed to secure the mid lane section, while Albertt and Benedetta became MVP of the game, with 11 kills without falling plus 3 assists.
In the RRQ game, Hoshi managed to record 19 kill points, leaving 2 kill points for Onic Esports. Hoshi successfully silenced Onic in 17 minutes 47 seconds of play.
There was a fierce battle in the second game. Hoshi and Onic overtake each other in terms of kill points. Even so, the onslaught of Albertt et al succeeded in making Onic not move. Albertt is back as MVP of the game. He was able to make 10 kills without falling and two assists with Bruno’s hero.
RRQ Hoshi successfully won the match 2-0 in a 23-minute match, with 13 kill points compared to 10 kill points. This victory also made the champions move up the standings to fourth place, after previously being stranded to seventh position.
Meanwhile, in another match, EVOS Legends managed to beat Aura Fire 2-0, while bringing EVOS to the second place in the standings. While Aura Fire is still stranded in the distended position of the standings, without a win in Season 7 MPL Indonesia.
