PUBG Season 11 Adds New Paramo Map and Transport

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) Season 11 for PC will kick off on March 31 and on consoles on April 8. The new season brings back Paramo, the 3×3 highlands map of South America that was first introduced in Season 9, October 2021.

The map can now be played in solos, duos or squads in first and third person perspectives, and a dynamic world system that shuffles key landmarks between matches has been expanded.

PUBG Studio also says it has made a number of terrain improvements, increased secret rooms and provided helicopter spawn rates, and added maps as an option for custom play.

A new means of transportation, the Emergency Pickup item, allows players to summon planes to retrieve cables attached to high-altitude balloons and quickly transport squads to safety zones.

It was also revealed on Wednesday (24/3/2021) that the PUBG season will be getting shorter and shorter since the 11th season. The season will last for two months, meaning it will no longer run in parallel with Survivor Passes.

Updates to PUBG’s Medal Mastery and ID systems are also detailed in the Season 11 video above and in the official patch notes. Previously, a mobile sequel to PUBG called PUBG: New State was announced in February.

Coming to Android and iOS devices later this year, New State is set in 2051 and features “a cutting-edge technology that requires survivors to adopt new survival tactics”.
