PUBG MOBILE Update Brings Back Gamers' Favorite Map and Mode

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – Get ready for the return of the best of PUBG MOBILE! The version 1.6 update released today, featuring the new Flora Menace game mode with alien plant invasion, spaceship battles, and a new battle supply drop system.

Loyal PUBG MOBILE fans will also see some of their favorite game modes return, as seven beloved game modes have been added to the game for a limited time. Players are also ready for some exciting new collaborations, as the version 1.6 update will bring back Alan Walker and Godzilla vs. Kong, in addition to a new partnership with KartRider Rush+, and the upcoming star-studded blockbuster, DUNE.

Beware: Erangel has been attacked! Alien Yarilo’s plants have taken over the map and it’s the player’s turn to fight back! In this special game mode, Yarilo mother plants will appear randomly in urban areas, creating Rejuvenation Barriers that increase and restore the player’s health. Erangel will also be the base for the Cell Matrix, an alien spaceship that soars high above the map. Players can board the ship by finding Cells scattered throughout the map, then also fight other players on the ship to get amazing random weapons, as well as get Nacore Chips.

Nacore Chips are used for the latest DynaHex Supplies system which allows players to order combat gear to specific locations. There is a limited respawn in the Cell Matrix so players who run out will be ejected back to the mainland. After the specified time, the Cell Matrix will land. The players who manage to survive will continue to battle with other players among several spaceships.

The Flora Menace invasion will be on Erangel starting today, then continue its assault on Sanhok on September 18th followed by Livik on September 22nd. However, the Cell Matrix will only appear in Erangel.

The update version 1.6 also brings back the best of PUBG MOBILE by re-launching seven of the players’ favorite game modes into the game!

• Metro Royale: Reunion, from September 28: Journey through underground tunnels full of dangers, survive, and collect the rewards
• Titans: Last Stand, starting September 28: Join the Monarch Expedition team and use heavy weaponry to help defeat Mechagodzilla
• Vikendi, from October 8th: The chilly terrain of Vikendi is finally back, make sure to get your snow gear ready
• Survive Till Dawn, from October 15: When the sun goes down, save yourself from zombie attacks
• Payload 2.0, from October 15: Ride heavy ground and air-based weaponry for explosive combat
• Runic Power, from October 15: Unleash the power of Flame, Arctic, or Wind, collect crystals and dominate your foes on the battlefield
• Infection Mode, from October 15: Choose to be a Defender or a Zombie in this fast-paced infection game

Along with this exciting gameplay update, PUBG MOBILE continues its great content partnership through this version 1.6 update. Alan Walker, a world-renowned DJ and artist known for hits like “Faded, Darkside”, “All Falls Down”, and “Alone”, returns to the game with music to exclusive outfits and items. Players can look forward to the new song on September 23 on PUBG MOBILE. Previously, Alan Walker had collaborated with PUBG MOBILE in 2021 through singles titled “On My Way” and “Live Fast”. New details about Royale Pass Month 3: Chef’s Special and Royale Pass Month 4: Temporal Warriors have also been revealed. Added awesome new themed items RP will start in mid-September and October respectively. Players who buy RP during this Royale Pass will also automatically enter the RP Server Golden Chicken event where Royale Pass Month is free and exclusive titles will be awarded to three lucky winners.

A number of gameplay updates have been made as part of the version 1.6 update. Player animations, controls, and HUD have been updated, along with more customization options in the Settings menu. Now, players can also enjoy an unlimited ammo mode at the Training Grounds, with the P90, MG3, ASM Abakan have been added as usable firearms. The new Highlight Mode can also be enabled in Settings so players can see their best elimination at the end of a Classic Mode match.
