PUBG MOBILE Celebrates Earth Day through Karakin Oasis Event
GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – PUBG MOBILE is celebrating Earth Day in-game or in-game for a limited time with the launch of the new map, Karakin. Karakin Oasis invites PUBG MOBILE players everywhere to collect exclusive blueprints for building eco-friendly resource facilities in the game.
This event is being held from now on and will run until May 5, 2021. Karakin Oasis is PUBG MOBILE’s latest initiative to raise awareness about environmental issues in order to follow up on the #FIGHT4THEPLANET and #FIGHT4THEAMAZON campaigns.
The Karakin Oasis event is designed to raise awareness of the PUBG MOBILE community to preserve the environment. By completing various in-game challenges, players can collect blueprints to build and sustain eco-friendly resource facilities on the Karakin Oasis event page.
The production of eco-friendly resources from all facilities before May 5th, will all count. For contributing to the mission to protect the environment, players will get prizes, namely Homeland Parachute, Homeland Backpack, Pitch Master Helmet, and an exclusive Earth Day series of equipment.
Over the past few years, PUBG MOBILE has doubled its support for environmental initiatives including a partnership with Global Green, a world-renowned non-profit organization, for the #FIGHT4THEPLANET and #FIGHT4THEAMAZON campaigns.
The #FIGHT4THEPLANET and #FIGHT4THEAMAZON campaigns started in 2021 to help Global Green plant 150,000 trees in the Amazon Rainforest. The #FIGHT4THEPLANET campaign was then followed up in 2021 with multi-platinum recording artist and humanitarian Jason Derulo as ambassador, and a special update Mad Miramar showing the importance of preserving the planet.
The Karakin Oasis event was held following the official release of the Karakin map in PUBG MOBILE’s version 1.3 update earlier this month, bringing more weapons, vehicles and mechanics to the game. PUBG MOBILE will soon reveal more information about the highly anticipated version 1.4 update along with its groundbreaking collaboration with Godzilla vs. Kong.
Stay tuned for more details on PUBG MOBILE’s upcoming content, including the version 1.4 update and the Royal Pass Season 19.
PUBG MOBILE is now available to download for free on Google Play and the App Store.
