PMPL Indonesia Season 3 Results First Week, Boom Esports Leads the Standing

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) Indonesia Season 3 has entered its first week which will take place on March 24-28. Boom Esports successfully topped the standings with a score of 150 points.

In total, Boom Esports has successfully won three Winer Winer Chicken Dinner (WWDC). Quoted from PMPL Indonesia’s official Facebook account, Monday (29/3/2021), in second place Bona Fida Esports sits with a score of 114 points, the same points as EVOS Esports in third place. They both bagged one WWDC.

Initiated by Tencent Games and organized by VSPN, PMPL Season, which just entered its third season last week, pits 16 teams from PMPL Season 2 plus the top four teams of PUBG Mobile Club Open Indonesia Spring Split 2021, who will compete for a total prize pool of US$150,000. or around Rp2.17 billion, according to the PMPL SEA official website.

PMPL Indonesia Season 1 became the arena for the dominance of Bigetron Red Aliens who successfully won the title. While PMPL Indonesia Season 2 became history for Aerowolf LIMAX who became the dark horse team, but with their consistent performance in the grand finals, they won the PMPL ID Season 2 championship trophy.

Entering the third season, various differences are presented to add color and excitement to PMPL Indonesia Season 3. Starting with the deletion of the Vikendi map which was previously present in 2 seasons of PMPL Indonesia and now there are 3 maps remaining to be competed, namely Miramar, Erangel and Sanhok. In addition, the number of teams has also decreased, from the original 24 to 20 teams.

Another change is in the form of regular season match schedules which now feature “weekdays” and “super weekends”. Twenty teams will compete against each other during ‘weekdays’ which are divided into five groups and have been drawn on 14 March. Round ‘weekdays’ takes place every Wednesday to Friday with 5 rounds of fighting every day.

Only 16 teams with the highest points on ‘weekdays’ every week are entitled to qualify for the “super weekend”, which only takes place three times. Unlike the previous season, the ‘super weekend’ determines which team is entitled to advance to the ‘country finals’, which is determined from the points earned by each team.

A total of 16 teams with the highest points will qualify for the PMPL Indonesia Season 3 Country Finals, which is the decisive match for the Indonesian representative for the PMPL SEA Finals.
