PGSI Demak's Turn to Ask to Block Online Games, Strongly Supported by Local Kominfo!

GAMEFINITY.ID, Singkawang – Some time ago we were shocked by the news that the Regent of Mukomuko was submitting an application to block online games to the Central Minister of Communication and Information.

This time it was the turn of the All Indonesian Teachers Association (PGSI) in the Demak area to ask the Central Kominfo to block online games.

The All Indonesian Teachers Association (PGSI) of Demak Regency has taken steps to meet the Head of the Demak Regency Communication and Information Office (Dinkominfo) on Monday, June 28, 2021.

This was done by PGSI in order to get support from the Demak Dinkominfo to block online games. PGSI asked the Demak Dinkominfo to immediately urge and appeal to the central Minister of Communication and Informatics to block online games.

The purpose of PGSI’s arrival to the Demak Dinkominfo office was warmly welcomed and supported by the Head of Demak Dinkominfo, Endah Cahya Rini.

Yes, I welcome the moral movement of blocking online games by PGSI, said Endah.

Supporting what PGSI Demak is doing, Endah admitted that he would immediately forward a letter of request to block online games as soon as possible to the Central Minister of Communication and Information.

So as soon as possible, I will Dispo the letter to be sent to the Directorate General of Information, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, said Endah.

Endah explained that the reason he agreed to block online games was because there were more negative impacts that would pollute the morale of teenagers in Indonesia.

Personally and on behalf of the Demak Regency Government, I also strongly agree with the blocking of Online Games, because from any side, the harm is more,” he explained.

The letter with the number 132/PD.PGSI/Dmk/VI/2021 will be sent to the Central Kominfo as soon as possible.

Endah explained that he only had the right to dispose of the letter, then it would be up to the Central Kominfo to decide.
