Not a New Game, PES 2021 Just A DLC?

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – Every year, it is an obligation for KONAMI to release the latest series of its flagship soccer game, Pro Evolution Soccer (PES). But unfortunately, this year KONAMI did not do that. Because the issue is, the PES 2021 game will only be a DLC (Downloadable Content) for the PES 2021 game.

This information was revealed through the Microsoft store page where on that page there is a product called eFootball PES 2021 Season Update. In the product description, it is written that the eFootball PES 2021 DLC brings various updated content for PES 2021 such as club and player roster. Not only that, some leagues will also receive an update thanks to the update. But unfortunately, the eFootball PES 2021 Season Update DLC product has been removed by the Microsoft Store.

Rene Treur also revealed issues related to the PES 2021 DLC this time. Through his Twitter account, Rene Treur revealed that KONAMI is currently focusing on developing the PES 2022 game which will later be launched for new generation consoles such as the Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X which will indeed be launched in the near future. As a result, PES 2021 game development is only in the form of DLC.

This information, of course, is still just a rumor. Because KONAMI itself has not provided any information regarding the update for eFootball PES 2021. Well, let’s wait for further information!
