New Characters and Equipment in Update 1.3 Genshin Impact

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – Update 1.3 Genshin Impact has been released for all platforms a while ago. In this update titled “Glittering the Night Sky”, Mihoyo has prepared new characters, character ups and new equipment that travelers can take advantage of.

For new characters, Update 1.3 features “Vigilant Yaksha” Xiao. This five-star character has Anemo vision and is equipped with a Polearm weapon. The Yaksha in charge of protecting Liyue is dubbed the “Conqueror of Demons” or “Vigilant Yaksha”.

“Of all the Yakshas that exist, only Xiao still abides by his contract with Archon Geo, fighting for every soul in Liyue. If you wake up with a knife about to slash your throat, and if a monster plunges its claws into you, or if death comes knocking on your door… Say my name, Adeptus Xiao. I will come, whenever you call.”

Xiao’s Elemental Skill is Lemniscatic Wind Cycling. This ability makes Xiao charge forward and deal DMG to all enemies in his path. This Elemental Skill can also be used while in the air.

Meanwhile, Xiao’s Elemental Burst is Bane of All Evil. Xiao will sacrifice his HP to enter Yaksha’s Mask mode. Xiao’s DMG will become larger, all of Xiao’s attacks will become Anemo elemental, and his jumping power will be much greater.

During the “Summon of Light” event, the acquisition percentage of Xiao, 4-star characters “Kätzlein Cocktail” Diona (Cryo), “Uncrowned Lord of Ocean” Beidou (Electro), and “Blazing Riff” Xinyan (Pyro) will increase.

The UP character in this 1.3 update is “Driving Thunder” Keqing (5★). This character has Electro vision with Sword’s mainstay weapon. In the description, Keqing is the Yuheng of Liyue Qixing. In his heart, Keqing had a lot of dissatisfaction regarding Rex Lapis’ one-sided government. In reality, the Gods greatly admired people like Keqing.

The “Lantern Dance” Request Event will start from February 17, 2021 to March 2, 2021. During the event, the percentage of gains for Keqing, 4-star character “Eclipsing Star” Ningguang (Geo), “Trial by Fire” Bennett (Pyro), and “Shining Idol” Barbara (Hydro) will improve.

As for the new equipment that is present in the 1.3 update, here are the details:

Primordial Jade Cutter (Sword 5★)

A ceremonial sword carved from pure jade. When it was swung, it seemed as if it could hear the faint whistling sound of the wind. During the Epitome Invocation request event (after update 1.3 to February 23, 2021), the acquisition percentage of Primordial Jade Cutter and Primordial Jade Winged-Spear (Polearm) five-star Weapon will increase.

Staff of Homa (Polearm 5★)

A “firewood stick” that was once used in ancient rituals and has long been lost.

Lithic Spear (Polearm 4★)

A long spear forged from rocks in the Guyun Stone Forest. The level of hardness of this spear was truly second to none.

Lithic Blade (Claymore 4★)

A thick and heavy sword, made of Liyue stone. Staff of Homa, Lithic Spear, and Lithic Blade will be present at the upcoming Supplication Event.
