GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – At the next@acer 2021 global press conference held virtually, Acer announced its latest innovation for four popular gaming laptops: Predator Helios 700, Predator Helios 300, Predator Triton 300 and Nitro 7.

This new lineup brings significant updates, providing a more satisfying gaming experience by bringing exciting upgrades to all aspects.

This latest line of gaming laptops features an Intel Core H-series Gen 10 processor that has desktop-caliber performance, but can still support the mobile lifestyle that is characteristic of a laptop.

The latest graphics from NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER or RTX 2070 SUPER GPU, capable of delivering high refresh rates for blur-free visuals even in the toughest AAA games.

To keep the laptop at the optimal temperature, Acer complements this laptop lineup with an increasingly refined cooling system, using new cooling technology and additional heat pipes.

Predator Helios 700 – Laptop as Powerful as a Desktop

The Predator Helios 700 now sports the iconic, sliding HyperDrift keyboard, upgraded with an overclockable 10th Gen Intel Core i9-10980HK or i7-10875H processor, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER or RTX 2070 SUPER GPU.

Thermal regulation capabilities are significantly improved with the new Predator PowerGem solution, which is available on models with Intel Core i9 processors. PowerGem is a special material with a vertical heat conductivity of 3.83 times higher than copper, which leads to an increase in the heat emission efficiency of this laptop.

All models also feature three copper heat pipes, Acer CoolBoost Technology, a vapor chamber and two specially designed 3D AeroBlade 4th fans.

Other flagship performance innovations in the Predator Helios 700 are faster 2933 Hz memory (max. 64 GB), additional Thunderbolt 3 ports (two in total) and the latest edition of Killer DoubleShot Pro (Wi-Fi 6 AX1650i wireless and E3100G Ethernet) to ensure applications -applications that require processing speed get bandwidth priority.

Using PCIe NVMe Solid State Drives in RAID 0 keeps things fast, and games come alive with a 17.3-inch 144 Hz FHD IPS display with NVIDIA G-SYNC technology.

The keyboard, with per-key RGB lighting and anti-ghosting, has been updated to provide MagTek mechanics for WASD keys and a new set of more precise racing keys.

Designed for racing games, this keyboard features a 1.5mm indented keycap that allows gamers to make smoother, more controlled movements during gameplay. Gamers can swap the standard WASD keys on the keyboard for the MagForce keys and racing keys included in the sales package, providing a personalized set that is best suited for the game they are playing.

Once swapped, gamers can use the Predator Sense app or press the P3 hotkey to adjust button lighting and actuation points.

Predator Helios 300 – Powerful, Full of Features

The popular Predator Helios 300 line from Acer further raises the bar for a gaming laptop, offering the best price-to-performance. Now available with the latest 10th Gen Intel Core H-series processors, an overclockable NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 GPU with Max-Q Design, and a 15.6-inch FHD 240 Hz IPS display with 3 ms overdrive.

The new Predator Helios 300 has cemented its reputation as one of the most powerful and feature-packed gaming laptops available at an affordable price. The laptop also supports up to 32GB and 2933MHz of DDR4 memory, two PCIe NVMe SSDs in a RAID 0 configuration and a hard drive of up to 2TB, providing the speed and storage needed for a collection of AAA games and a wide variety of movie titles.

Predator Triton 300 – Ideal Laptop for Gamers and Content Creators

The Predator Triton 300 gaming laptop from Acer is now more sophisticated with the latest Intel Core H-series Gen 10 processor, up to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 GPU with Max-Q Design and a screen refresh rate of 240 Hz.

The 15.6-inch FHD IPS display also delivers 3ms response time, 300 nits brightness, and supports a 100% sRGB color palette, making it ideal for gaming and content creation.

Huge storage plus lightning-fast transfers that gamers desperately need are also made possible with up to 3 M.2 SSDs (one PCIe, two combos).

Three heat pipes have also been added to the now more sophisticated thermal design, which includes a dual fan cooling system (featuring one 3D AeroBlade 4th Gen metal fan), CoolBoost technology and strategically positioned intake and exhaust ports.

The Nitro 7’s thermal design includes dual fans, a four-hole exhaust design and Acer CoolBoost technology, which can be enabled in NitroSense to increase fan speed by 10% and CPU/GPU cooling by 9% compared to automatic mode.

In addition to providing this excellent performance, the 15.6-inch FHD anti-glare IPS display with a 144 Hz refresh rate and 3 ms response time enables sharp visuals and smooth, blur-free gameplay.
