Korean T1 Valorant Team Officially Released, Again Korea Lost Team

Korean T1 Valorant Team Officially Released, Again Korea Lost Team.

After an unsatisfactory performance in the First Strike Korea tournament, Valorant T1 players were allowed to find a new team. And they just announced that the cast has been released.

This is the second announcement this week regarding the disbandment of the Valorant team in Korea. A few days ago, the Valorant Cloud9 Korea team was disbanded as well.

This team consists of the lineup RESET which was first signed in August. Their best achievement during 4 months together is finishing second in AW EXTREME MASTERS Asia Invitational. This tournament was won by the Vision Strikers team. T1 then qualified for First Strike Korea, but were eliminated in the quarter-finals by the team Ang Dark Horse.

There are rumors circulating that this announcement is due to new rules that Riot is likely to issue. The rule is that one organization cannot run more than one competitive VALORANT team.

This is a disappointment for the pro scene of Valorant Korea, because Vision Strikers, TNL Esports, and SeolHaeOne Prince is the last remaining important and major organization.

Currently the Valorant T1 team is only in North America.

Team T1 Valorant Korea was previously strengthened by Choi “10X” Jin-woo, Jeong “Esperanza” Jin-cheol, Kim “ROK3T” Ju-yeong, Kim “Harry” Han-kyu, Ye “Children” Sang-jun, and coach Yoo “Locomotive’ Jeong-seon.
