Konami Officially Releases PES 2022 Demo, Here's What It Looks Like!

GAMEFINITY.ID, Salatiga – Good news for fans of the Pro Evolution Soccer series. Konami as PES developer officially released PES 2022 demo.

Without any prior announcement, Konami suddenly released PES 2022 demo on 24 June 2021 then. PES 2022 demo will last for 2 weeks to be exact July 8, 2021. This demo is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S platforms.

Through its official website, Konami said that this demo aims to test the performance of the server used in online matchmaking in the upcoming PES 2022.

For gameplay, animation, graphics, and others are currently under development so they can change at any time.

“Konami is proud to announce that a new soccer gaming experience is on the way! The purpose of this beta test is to evaluate online matchmaking and connection to the server.”

“Please note that game mechanics, balancing, animations, and graphics are all under development and will be improved prior to the official launch,” Konami wrote on its official website.

It is planned that Konami will provide more information about PES 2022 on July 21, 2021. This is based on Konami’s writing on the billboard in the PES 2022 demo.

PES 2022 Demo Features and Gameplay

In this PES 2022 demo, there is only one game mode to choose from, namely Online Quick Match. It’s only natural because the main purpose of this demo is to test the PES 2022 server and online matchmaking.

Players are only provided with 4 teams to choose from, namely Juventus, Bayern Munich, Manchester United and Barcelona. So it has been confirmed that PES has obtained the official license of the four teams. It’s still not clear for a team that previously got an official license in PES 2021 like Arsenal.

Then in Tactics, the UI of the PES 2022 demo is very much different from its predecessors. This time the UI that is used seems to be very simple but elegant. The available features are also still limited considering this game is still in the demo stage.

In terms of graphics and animation, PES 2022 is actually not too much different from eFootball PES 2021. However, in terms of gameplay, there are some changes where the movement of players is much more flexible than PES 2021 which was criticized because the movement of players feels too heavy.

Overall, the development of PES 2022 is currently quite good. In the future, maybe Konami just needs some improvements in terms of celebration animation and optimization.

But what is certain is that PES 2022 fans really hope that PES 2022 this time will be the best PES series ever.
