Here's a Unique & Inspirational Gamer Style Wedding Reception
The end and the beginning of the year are usually the choice of lovers to hold a wedding party. For some people, wedding preparation is a complicated and tiring thing. That won’t happen if you make the thing you love the most as a fun wedding theme. Like some of these couples, they designed a fantastic wedding party with the themes of their favorite games. For Pemmzholics who claim to be “game is my life”, take a peek at this gamer-style wedding that might inspire your wedding later.
A la World of Warcraft (WOW)
Jen and Nick, a couple from the US made their favorite game WOW the theme of their wedding. It turns out that the MMORPG game is the place to date this LDR couple. At this gamer-style wedding, the bride and groom brought their favorite weapons in the game. The wedding table is made of replica Treasure Chest and each guest table is also named Raid Boss. However, they also added a touch of other games to appreciate the invitees, such as changing the wedding song to the theme song of Game of Thrones, music from the Final Fantasy series when exchanging rings and the Legend of Zelda sound effect.
The Chinese couple, Craig and Zoe brought the theme of the WOW game on their wedding day. The groom wears a King Varien Wrynn costume and carries his weapon, while the bride dresses up in the style of Tyrande Whisperwind.
This was then followed by Ek and Kiki who gave a cosplayer show at the wedding party colored with WOW music and decorations. Different from the previous couple, this Taiwanese gamer-style marriage chose to become the characters of Lor’themar Theron and Sylvanas Windrunner, certainly familiar characters for Pemmzholics who have played WOW.
Final Fantasy
Charlene and Choi chose Final Fantasy as the theme for their romantic gamer-style wedding, a game that brings this Filipino couple together. They met at an anime convention promoting the film Final Fantasy: Spirits Within. Wearing a White Mage wedding dress, weapons, and introductory music for FF 8 colored the wedding ceremony. The bride’s family also wore their favorite fictional character costumes. They also plan to name their child after a character from the Ragnarok game.
Left 4 Dead
Different from other romantic weddings, this gamer-style wedding has a horror theme that adopts the Left 4 Dead game as Ingle and Aimee’s choice. Both of them really liked the Left 4 Dead game so much that they brought the concept of this game to their wedding photo shoot. This Filipino couple is being chased by zombies followed by a shooting scene full of mud and blood that is scary, but they see it as a romantic struggle to protect each other.
