1. First Step

  • Please open the Run feature on your laptop. The trick is to press the Windows + R keys together on the laptop keyboard.
  • After the Run feature opens, please type “temp” (without quotes) in the column provided. After that press the Enter key on the laptop keyboard.
  • Later you will be directed to the File Explorer window with a row of existing cache files.
  • Press CTRL + A to select all cache files.
  • Then press the Delete key.
  • Finished.

2.Step Two

  • Please open the Run feature in the same way in the first step.
  • When the Run feature opens, type %temp% (without the quotes) in the column provided. Then press Enter on the keyboard.
  • When File Explorer which displays a row of cached files appears, please select all of them using Ctrl + A.

3.Third Step

  • Go back to the Run feature in the same way as the first step.
  • Type ‘Prefetch’ (without the quotes) in the space provided, then press the Enter key.

4. Fourth Step

  • Open File Explorer on your favorite laptop.
  • Click the This PC menu. A display of all drives will appear on your laptop.
  • On the C Drive icon, right-click on the mouse, then the Properties option.
  • Once the Local Disk (C:) Properties Window opens, click the Disk Cleanup button.
