GridGames.ID – Making a game is not an easy thing because we are required to understand programming languages.
However, this does not seem to apply to a boy from Malaysia named Muhammad Thaqif who managed to make a first person shooter (FPS) genre game.
What’s unique, friend, is that the 12-year-old boy has been working on his homemade Zombie shooting game in an internet cafe (warnet) for almost a year.
At 12 years old, he is good at developing games. PHP coding is also good. Please @SyedSaddiq and @maszlee I will pay attention to this issue because this sister stopped going to school because of dependents. pic.twitter.com/P5P0DPzclz

He did that because Thaqif did not have a PC or laptop at home.
Unfortunately, according to information compiled from HAI, the internet cafe operator where he worked on the game then deleted all the files that Thaqif had worked on because they thought it was a virus on his PC.
Thaqif was sad, but didn’t give up. He then wrote a post on a Facebook group called PC Gaming Community Malaysia, which said that his game had been removed by internet cafe operators and asked if anyone had sold a laptop for 350 RM (Rp 1.2 million) so he could finish his work.
Together with the youngest game developer, Thaqif who studied at Tahfiz.
He once tried to sell his own game for RM1 which was built in a cyber cafe.
The industry is expected to be worth around USD4.5Billion by 2021. I want to position Malaysia as the leader in ASEAN. pic.twitter.com/1Ifi0QsbmD

Muhammad Thaqif admitted that he will sell the game for 1 RM or around Rp. 3,600 to people who want to buy it to help his mother.
Thaqif’s story went viral, and touched a local religious leader who then gave the 12-year-old boy a computer so he could finish the game he made.
“Today I got a PC gift from a religious leader. I will finish it (the game) as soon as possible,” wrote Thafiq on his Facebook as reported by HAI from SCMP.
Not only that. Malaysia’s Minister of Youth and Sports, Syed Saddiq also gave his attention and had time to meet Muhammad Thaqif to express his appreciation.
Kudos to Thaqif, even though he’s still young, he’s been able to make such a cool game, moreover, the money from the sale will be used to help his mother.
Hopefully the game will be released soon, Thaqif!
