Had Appeared in Trailer Description, Apex Legends Switch Version Possibly Released 2 February

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – The Nintendo Switch version of Apex Legends is likely to be released soon, on February 2, 2021. That release date was briefly mentioned in the YouTube description of the game’s latest trailer in countries including Poland, Denmark, and Japan, before being removed.

The trailer was released on Monday (1/18/2021) along with details of Apex Legends Season 8 which will be released February 2, about two years after the free-to-play battle royale game launched. Previously, the Switch version of Apex Legends was announced along with the Steam version of Apex Legends, at the launch of Season 7, November 2021.

Originally planned for release last fall, Electronic Arts (EA) postponed the release of the Switch version of Apex Legends until 2021. This was done to further solidify the game to make it a great experience for Switch gamers.

Developer Respawn says the Switch version of Apex Legends will support cross-platform play and offer full features with other versions of the game. Meanwhile, Apex Legends’ 8th Season titled Mayhem will also be released on February 2.

The latest season of Apex Legends will introduce the 16th legend, Fuse who is an explosives expert. The latest update will also include the 30-30 Repeater rifle, a new battle pass, and a major overhaul of the Kings Canyon map.
