Garena Blocks 1.2 Million Players Who Use Cheats on Free Fire

Telset.id, Jakarta – At least 1.2 million Free Fire players indicated cheater or cheating has been permanently blocked by Garena. Through an announcement on Instagram, Garena Free Fire has taken action against accounts that are proven to have cheated.

In the last two weeks, Garena Free Fire’s Anti-Hack Operations Team has blocked 1,225,509 player accounts caught using cheats or modified programs.

“Cheaters who are caught for using modified scripts/programs will immediately be permanently banned,” he said.

From the infographic that Garena displayed on Instagram, 51% of the blocked Free Fire player accounts came from player reports. In fact, 24,642 Free Fire players were also demoted to Bronze I because they were caught playing with cheaters or hackers.

Garena Free Fire Cheat Cheats

“We strive to maintain fair play and maintain an honest playing experience for all players,” Garena said.

Garena also revealed popular cheats that are often used by Free Fire players. 75.4% of blocked accounts use automatic ait which helps them to take a perfect headshot without much effort.

14.7% of Free Fire player accounts were blocked for using teleportation cheats. This type of cheat is used to travel quickly from one place to another.

Garena Free Fire Cheat Cheats

8.9% of banned Free Fire accounts use the Wallhack cheat that helps players shoot through walls or other solid objects. While the remaining 1% use other cheat models, such as character or area modification.

Garena Improves Anti-hack and Cheat Detection Method

Along with this report, Garena stated that they have improved their anti-hack and cheat detection methods in the game. Garena Free Fire also hopes that players or known as Survivors will continue to report cheaters through the in-game reporting function.

“We also hope and want to remind all Survivors not to log into Free Fire using unlicensed applications and not take advantage of bugs in the In-game,” concluded Garena. (MF)
