Gameplay in Resident Evil Re:Verse Beta, Players Died So Nemesis

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – Resident Evil Re: Verse’s closed beta (Closed Beta Test or CBT) trial period has begun for the console platform. This exclusive test for Resident Evil Ambassadors was conducted for the PS4 and Xbox One platforms between January 27 and 29. Lucky players have featured footage from that Resident Evil multiplayer game.

This action shooter game is part of Resident Evil’s 25th anniversary celebrations and is bundled for free with the upcoming Resident Evil Village. The game offers players to control various legendary Resident Evil characters in six-person deathmatches. Video footage reveals that players must collect virus samples scattered around the map, which can increase their damage and accuracy.

If the player is killed, the player is transformed into various monsters and can continue to attack other players. The type of monster is determined by how many virus samples the player collects before dying. If the number is sufficient, players who have been killed can turn into iconic monsters like Tyrant to Nemesis.

Each character has unique weapons and skills. The comic book style visual filters can be turned on and off via the graphics menu, especially if players prefer a more traditional look. Later, Re: Verse became an online multiplayer game that required a PlayStation Plus membership or Xbox Live Gold membership to play.

Previously, during a special Resident Evil Showcase event last week, Capcom had set a Resident Evil Village release date of May 7, 2021. Capcom has also released a “Maiden” demo exclusive to the PlayStation 5.
