Final Fantasy XVI: After a Long Absence, How Far is the Development Process?
GAMEFINITY.ID, Bandung City — Many gamers have been waiting for news of the latest development of Final Fantasy XVI. Some of them hoped that Final Fantasy XVI would be present at E3 2021, but this never happened, making many fans feel disappointed.
FFXVI』のシナリオはほぼFIXしている状況で、現在はボイスを収録中。それも英語ボイス収録の終盤になっているとのこと。
Until finally, in one of the event sessions Final Fantasy XIV: The 7th 14-Hour Broadcast between Naoki Yoshida (Yoshi-P), Yosuke Sato, and Yoko Taro, Yoshi-P mentioned that Final Fantasy XVI’s scenario development and voice-acting recording is almost complete, including the English version. Unfortunately, Yoshi-P reported that Final Fantasy XVI will most likely not be present at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show 2021 presentation.

For additional information, the creative team behind Final Fantasy XIV led by Yoshi-P also helped develop Final Fantasy XVI, the single-player game from the next main Final Fantasy title. He is the producer and director of the Final Fantasy XIV project, as well as taking on the responsibility of being the producer of Final Fantasy XVI.
Given the smooth process of developing Final Fantasy XIV under the auspices of Yoshi-P, the author believes that the development of Final Fantasy XVI will also run well as expected.
