Don't Want To Think About RRQ, EVOS Coach Zeys Focuses On The Philippines

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – The ONE Esports MPL Invitational will take place this weekend. The EVOS Legend team admitted that they had not thought about the toughest opponent, RRQ Hoshi and were more wary of surprises from a number of Filipino dream teams. In the first match, EVOS Legends will face Alter Ego, Saturday (28/11/2021).

Even though he is in the same bracket and there is an opportunity to meet RRQ Hoshi, the EVOS Legend coach, Bjorn Ong alias Zeys, is more wary of surprise actions from the Filipino team outside the bracket. EVOS Legend is RRQ Hoshi’s sworn enemy and the battle between the two is likened to the Mobile Legends version of El Clasico.

“I think the Philippines will be very strong this season, especially in MPLI, considering that MPL doesn’t have a franchise there. The rules there (Philippines) are not too strict regarding players and other changes, so most Filipino teams can create dream teams, “said Zeys.

As is known, EVOS Legend has prepared a surprise at the MPL Invitational, after bringing in three new quality roster, starting from Luminaire, Antimage, and also LJ. All three players will debut at the MPL Invitational. Zeys stated that there was no pressure from management so that the new roster was expected to be able to play freely. According to Zeys, it comes from those who want to give the best results for fans.

“There is no pressure from management, but pressure from ourselves. We want to give our best for EVOS and all matches are important,” Zeys said.
