Netflix has done a lot of collaborations with big games such as Resident Evil, The Last Of Us, Assassin’s Creed, and Castlevania but it was not enough, they also collaborated with Far Cry and Splinter Cell games. Prior to that, they had collaborated with Super Mario Bros. and Mortal Kombal: Conquest which was busy at the time.

Starting from Fallout to Rayman, which has a live action genre or an animated show that makes your schedule unlimited because you’re not just waiting for The Witcher series to come. Even now Netflix is working with Ubisoft to bring 2 of its games into the streaming service for many people to watch.

FAR CRY

Netflix has officially announced a Far Cry collaboration game with the title Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix. It’s a shame that Far Cry 3 didn’t get a live-action adaptation with Michael Mando. On the contrary that this anime series is based on Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon which not many people know about this game. This game is neither a DLC nor a spin-off but a solo game that came out in 2021 with a storyline where the world has been ravaged by nuclear war.

Inspired by neon and Cyberpunk, Captain Laserhawk will be a neo-noir journey to an alternate world. According to the creator of this game series, Adi Shankar, he said that he respects anime and cards properly. He also paid tribute to Paul Verhoeven’s Total Recall and John Carpenter’s Escape From New York.

The film’s synopsis begins with Captain Laserhawk who was revealed in 1992, as the largest technology company by the name of Eden that promises universal security and income for all citizens. The protagonist in this film is Dolph Laserhawk, who is a super soldier with a mission to escape from Eden’s forces and try to commit a heist in Captain Laserhawk’s company. The film has an LGBTQ element to it when Laserhawk plans to go to see the true sun with his girlfriend Alex.

SPLINTER CELL

This series tells the story of Sam Fisher when he is recruited to the Echelon Division. John Wick creator Derek Kolstad has said that he will be writing the Splinter Cell series on Netflix. And also you’ll see Fisher with a grizzled hairstyle in this Splinter Cell series with a general aesthetic in animation style.

The Splinter Cell series is planned to have eight episodes and will probably be 16 episodes. This makes Splinter Cell a mysterious anime set in the same world as Far Cry. Ubisoft and Netflix are also planning to bring Assassin’s Creed into live action, along with The Division, which will star Jake Gyllenhaal and Jessica Chastain.

Between Splinter Cell and Far Cry there is still no confirmation on the release date of this film, but it is highly expected that both Netflix and Ubisoft will show their plans at the Netflix show which will take place live later.
