Who would have thought, the Biomutant game developed by Swedish developer Experiment 101 and published by THQ Nordic has sold more than 1 million copies worldwide. This news came through the Embracer Group, which posted the results Q1 2021 interim finance yesterday.

Even another astonishing fact is that this game has returned after 1 week of its release. This is certainly good news in the midst of a lot of criticism from the players.

“The main draw for the quarter was the release of Biomutant from our in-house studio Experiment 101. So far, the game has sold over a million copies. Full development and marketing investment and acquisition costs for Experiment 101 and IP were recovered within a week of launch.” Write the report.

The Swedish company Embracer Group is the holding company of eight operating group subsidiaries, namely THQ Nordic, Koch Media, Coffee Stain, Amplifier, Saber Interactive, Gearbox Entertainment, Deca, and Easybrain.

Embracer also recently announced that it is acquiring eight more game companies through this subsidiary, most of which are development studios.
