GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – YouTubers XENO and Meeponegeroi have created a custom game Among Us on the Dota 2 client called “Dota 2 Among Us Edition”. This custom is a remake of Among Us in the style of Dota 2. The game will be played according to the rules of Among Us, but the characters and environment elements use elements from Dota 2.

Dota 2 Among Us Edition is a remake of the popular Among Us game in the midst of the COVID-19 virus pandemic. The main feature that sets it apart from the original game is the fact that each hero has a unique ability while playing as an impostor, which adds to the challenge in the game.

Interested in trying it? Quoting from AFK Gaming, here’s how:

  1. To download games in the Dota 2 client, start by subscribing to ‘Dota 2 Among Us Edition’, on the following Steamcommunity. After that you can find this game in the in-game Arcade Tab.
  2. Choose a hero. You will randomly get the role of Civilian or Imposter. For 10 players, there will be 2 imposters.

How to play as Civilian:

  1. Complete all the tasks on the map. When the “Total task” reaches the end or there are no cheats left in the game, Civilian wins.
  2. By clicking the bell in the center of the map or by finding a corpse, you will vote. At the vote, through discussions with other civilians, you must find the fraudsters and execute them.
  3. If you are killed, you cannot speak, but you can still perform tasks in spirit form.

How to play as Imposter:

  1. The imposters can win if they kill all the Civilians or they outnumber them.
  2. The imposter has the following capabilities:
    – Ability to kill once every 30 seconds
    – Hero’s unique abilities: Unique abilities depend on the hero and help you get rid of suspicion from yourself.
    – 4 times sabotage.

Currently, this game can only be played in Russian. However, the game’s original developer XENO has confirmed that the English version of the game will be added in about 1 week. Interested in trying?
