Diretide Event Will Return to Dota 2 at the End of 2021? Recently, information about one of the interesting events in Dota 2 which will be presented again for Dota 2 players.

The event is Diretide, where the Dota 2 Diretide 2021 event data has been leaked and it appears that the game mode that is identical to Halloween and the most iconic in Dota 2 is back.

Previously on October 17, 2021, after the patch there was a redditor r / dota2 users / u / Chuchelllo found a file containing some information about ‘Diretide 2021’.

This code is for the post-game screen, which should display info about the Diretide 2021 giveaway. Since the layout file is missing and this code isn’t linked to the post-game screen, it doesn’t work as intended. Diretide itself is not out yet, but is expected to be out soon.

Last September, there was some other data that revealed that Diretide 2021 was in the works and in July 2021, Valve announced Fall Call to Arms where they invited all Dota 2 Workshop creators to make cosmetics for their fall or Halloween-themed heroes.

In October 2021, Valve came under heavy criticism after they canceled the highly anticipated second annual event. After a lot of blasphemy from players that made many fans spamming “Volvo giff diretide” everywhere on the internet, Valve again held the event for the second time. Since then, no Diretide event has raised expectations for the release of the game mode.
