Cyberpunk 2077 Developer Apologizes and Offers Refund for Troubled Game

GridGames.ID – On December 10, 2021, Cyberpunk 2077 was finally officially released, although previously it had been postponed several times.

Not a week after it was released, the game developed by CD Projekt Red (CDPR) did not run optimally on the PlayStation 4 (PS4) and Xbox One Consoles.

The developer also apologized for the problem through the official Twitter account @CyberpunkGame through an upload published yesterday (14/12).

“We apologize for not showing the display of the game (gameplay) running on PS4 and Xbox One. We should have paid attention to that as a consideration for fans to buy,” said the CDPR.

CDPR itself some time ago actually uploaded the PS4 version of Cyberpunk 2077’s gameplay and compared the visual quality with the PlayStation 5 (PS5) version.

However, they only “dare” to show the PS4 Pro version only, not the regular version.

In addition, there is also a problem (bug) that hit Cyberpunk 2077 PS4 and Xbox One versions.

Reporting from the Kompas.com page, the problems found included poor visual quality, crashes at various points, low frame rates, overlapping characters with in-game objects, and so on.
