Corona Virus Issues, Hearthstone Masters Tour Indonesia Moves to Los Angeles

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – In light of the still evolving cases of the coronavirus (COVID-19), Blizzard Entertainment has taken the difficult decision to relocate the Hearthstone Masters Tour Indonesia to Los Angeles. Despite careful consideration of many factors, this decision must be made to prioritize the safety and health of players, staff and all parties involved in the Masters Tour. Blizzard Entertainment has decided with a heavy heart that even though it is unable to hold the event as originally planned, the safety of all parties is paramount to the company.

To express the hard work of players who have received invitations to the Masters Tour Indonesia, Blizzard Entertainment will happily hold the second Masters Tour 2021 at NGE Studios, Los Angeles on March 20-22. Blizzard Entertainment and NGE Studios will invite more than 300 participants from around the world to participate, each will compete for more than US$250,000 of the total prize pool of US$3,000,000, supported by the Dragon Masters bundle. Currently, AKG Games is holding the Hearthstone Elite Series Indonesia where four winners from Indonesia will be awarded a trip to the Los Angeles Masters Tour.

Recognizing the difficulty often encountered in adjusting to travel changes in a short period of time, Blizzard will provide up to US$250 to qualified participants to change travel schedules to Los Angeles if they have purchased a travel itinerary to Indonesia.

Players only need to submit documentary evidence of changes to the itinerary. Players can read a description of how to submit proof of travel costs and tournament schedule changes on the Masters Tour Los Angeles event page.
