CoD Mobile Season 7 postponed to support the fight against racism

One more call for equality for everyone from the gaming industry.

Activision scheduled the launch of Call of Duty Mobile Season 7 earlier this month, but the developer decided to postpone the plan due to the wave of protests that occurred in various parts of the world, especially in the United States following the tragedy of George Floyd’s death.

Through its official Twitter account, Activision uploaded a tweet that voiced the demand for justice for all human beings and condemned all forms of racism.

“Today and beyond, we support those who are fighting against racism and injustice. It has no place in our neighborhood – or anywhere else. Black lives matter, “said Activision.

In addition to the developer, Call of Duty Mobile also voiced a similar opinion through a tweet that reads, “Although we can’t wait to play the latest season of Call of Duty Warfare, Warzone, and Mobile, this is not the right time. We’ve decided to postpone the launch of Modern Warfare Season 4 and Call of Duty Mobile Season 7. Now is the time for those who fight for equality, justice and change. We will always support you.”

Not only Activision Blizzard, calls to end racism are also echoed by other video game companies such as EA, Sony, Xbox, Riot Games, Naughty Dog, Star Wars, Marvel, and many more. A world with only one color will not be as beautiful as a world with many colors, therefore, stop racism and embrace the beauty in diversity.
