Celebrate Mario's 35th Birthday, Nintendo Launches Switch Mario Edition

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – Nintendo will release the new Mario Red & Blue Nintendo Switch console next month, to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the Nintendo mascot. This special edition will be released on February 12 for 299.99 USD (approximately Rp. 4.3 million in the US market), along with the Nintendo Switch version of Super Mario 3D World.

The console includes a red Joy-Con with a blue strap, blue Joy-Con grips, a red Switch dock and frame. This pack will also include a Mario edition carrying case and a screen protector. A special edition from the Nintendo Switch, Mario Red & Blue Edition, also marks more than 35 years of Super Mario adventures.

“We hope players enjoy two great Mario adventures in Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury, with lots of fun to be had either solo or with family and friends,” said Nick Chavez, Nintendo America’s senior VP of Marketing. Chronicle.

Nintendo has also released several Mario games for the Switch recently. Among them are Mario 3D All-Stars – a collection of classic 3D Mario games, Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit, and versions of Super Mario Bros. upgraded, Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels, Super Mario Bros. 2 and Super Mario Bros. 3 is available through Super Mario All-Stars on Nintendo Switch Online.

Previously, Nintendo also released Game & Watch: Super Mario Bros. as a collectible set featuring classic Mario games last November. Released for $49.99 (approximately $60 in the US market), Game & Watch: Super Mario Bros. featuring a modern d-pad and running the classic games Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels and special versions of the classic game Ball with Mario as a character.
