Call of Duty: Mobile Surpasses 300 Million Downloads!

Call of Duty: Mobile has racked up over 300 million downloads after its global release last year!

The game, which was released on October 1, 2021, has brought many new updates and interesting events throughout the season.

General Manager of COD: Mobile Matt Lewis thanked the game community for their support.

“The satisfaction we get from delivering something so accessible and always fresh, is hard to overstate,” Lewis said.

“It’s very rare in life to be able to have such a positive impact on people and doing this every day for millions of people is definitely something we are most proud of.”

The Call of Duty franchise first gained popularity in 2003 after they released a game that tells the story of the United States and Russian troops in World War II.

Since then Call of Duty has become an icon for war games to date, having released more than 17 COD games (including COD Mobile).

Activision (the developer of COD)’s decision to bring Call of Duty to mobile devices could be fairly easy; The demand for this game is high and Activision itself really wants to bring the Call of Duty experience to Smartphone users.

Every month, COD Mobile will present a new season which usually brings new events, maps, modes and also some items and skins to make the game more interesting.

“The community’s reaction to this change has been very positive and we’re seeing them playing more and more as a result,” Lewis said.

Lewis also leaked that a major update is coming soon to the game that will bring in new maps, weapons and events!
