Bigetron Red Aliens' disappointment after failing to top the PMGC 2021 League Phase Final standings

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – Bigetron Red Aliens had to settle for being the runner-up in the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021 (PMGC 2021) league phase, following the end of the fourth week of Super Weekend on Sunday (12/20/2021). The PMCO Global Final Fall Split 2021 champion was in second place with a total of 561 points from four weeks of the Super Weekend round.

BTR RA lost to their arch rival from China, Four Angry Man or better known as 4AM. The top of the PMGC 2021 league phase belongs to a team from China, 4AM, after successfully collecting a total of 631 points. Meanwhile, another team from Indonesia, Aerowolf Limax, also qualified for the grand final after placing 14th out of 24 contestants with 213 points.

Disappointment also came to the players from Bigetron Red Aliens after only successfully finishing second. Not to forget BTR RA also apologized for the less than optimal results, but actually they did their best. This was revealed by the manager, Isfan Wijaya, in his statement at the end of the third day of the fourth week of PMGC 2021.

“Everyone is disappointed, annoyed, because everyone still wants to lift the trophy again, besides that, because the prizes are number 1 and 2. Thank you for your support, sorry we can’t give maximum results even though we have played as much as possible,” said Isfan .

By ranking second, Bigetron Red Aliens is entitled to a prize of 125 thousand USD or Rp. 1.7 billion. While the top of the PMGC standings received a prize of 300 thousand USD or around Rp. 4.2 billion. As for Rising Wolf, the nickname Aerowolf Limax is entitled to a prize of 5 thousand USD or the equivalent of Rp. 70 million.

Bigetron Red Aliens and Aerowolf Limax will still be fighting at the PMGC 2021 Grand Final which will take place January 21-24 2021 at the Coca-Cola Arena, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. A total of 16 teams will compete in the final round.
