Ascent VALORANT Map Can’t Be Played in Rank Mode, What’s the Cause? Patch 1.05 that Riot Games presented at VALORANT on August 4, 2021 yesterday seemed to bring up various existing problems. Even though this patch has been eagerly awaited because of the presence of a new agent, Killjoy.
Among several problems that appear in this patch, one of which is a bug in the Raze agent in his ultimate skill. Because of this bug, Riot Games finally decided to disable the Raze agent for a while until this bug was fixed, which is most likely a patch that will come on August 20, 2021.
Another big problem occurred in the Ascent VALORANT map, where the map was finally disabled for ranked mode. The reason is that there is a bug that occurs in Ascent VALORANT which is located on a “broken” wall. The bug was initially detected by players who discovered that they could heal the Sage and resurrect their comrades on the other side of the wall in A Main’s room, they posted videos three days ago.
Then the captain of G2 Esports, mixwell, also found this bug. Former pro CS:GO player uploaded a video of 100 Thieves captain Hiko encountering a strange error when Killjoy’s tower detects an enemy through a wall. The Killjoy Tower, according to Mixwell, appears to be using a wallhack.

Riot Games seems to be re-opening this Ascent map if Riot Games has finished fixing this bug, or it could be later in the upcoming patch on August 20, 2021.
