Appearing Consistently, Gunadarma Wins PUBG Mobile Campus Championship

Telset.id, Jakarta – Gunadarma University succeeded in overthrowing 15 other teams and became champions PUBG Mobile Campus Championship 2021 (PMCC). Consistent performance and good strategy were able to bring Gunadarma University to 187 points, which is the highest point achievement.

The PUBG Mobile Campus Championship has become a grand event to prove PUBG Mobile’s eSports talents for students throughout Indonesia,” said Gaga Li, Director of eSports PUBG Mobile for Southeast Asia.

The PMCC tournament this time shows a very dynamic competition, this can be seen from the leader of the standings who always change in each round. Sam Ratulangi University topped the first day standings with 93 points after their dominant performances in the 4th and 5th rounds.

Gunadarma University took second place with 84 points thanks to their good performance in the 1st and 2nd rounds. The third position is occupied by the University of Mataram with the acquisition of 82 points thanks to their consistency throughout the 1st round to the 5th round.

Despite controlling the top of the standings, the difference in points is not too far away so that all teams still have a chance to catch up on the second day.

Gunadarma University was able to take advantage of this opportunity, which was able to show fierce resistance and resulted in consecutive wins in rounds 7 and 8 so that it outperformed the top points from Sam Ratulangi University.

Consistent performance is the key to the success of this campus getting an additional 25 and 28 points so that their acquisition is no longer overtaken by 15 other teams. Thus Gunadarma University became the champion of PUBG Mobile Campus Championship 2021 and was entitled to a prize of Rp. 50,000,000.

Sam Ratulangi University had to settle for second place after failing to maintain their lead on the second day. Loss of focus and sub-optimal performance made this university lack of points in the 6th, 8th, and 9th rounds.

However, Sam Ratulangi University should be proud because it managed to reach the second position. With 141 points, they are entitled to a prize of IDR 25,000,000. While in the third position is occupied by the University of Mataram with the acquisition of 130 points and is entitled to a prize of Rp. 10,000,000. (HR/IF)
