Ahead of PMGC 2021 Finals, Bigetron Replaces Alice with Liquid

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – Ahead of the PMGC 2021 finals in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, finalists from Indonesia, Bigetron Red Aliens announced the change of players. Leander “Liquid” Deusfiel was included as a substitute in place of Maureen “Alice” Gabriella for the 2021 PMGC Finals.

“Indeed, from the beginning the organizers had required each team to bring one reserve player to Dubai. Because Alice’s physical condition was not possible, we finally decided to replace her with Liquid,” said BTR RA Manager, Isfan “Isfantasea” Satria Wijaya during a press conference Monday (4/1/2021).

This announcement was quite surprising, considering that previously it was reported that Liquid could not compete with Bigetron RA at least until PMGC 2021 was over. This is because Liquid previously played for ION Esports in PMPL Indonesia season 2. Bigetron Red Aliens has also finalized players before bringing Liquid from ION Esports, so players cannot simply be included in the team to compete in PMGC 2021.

Meanwhile, Alice had experienced problems in her spine which had resulted in her not appearing in the last week of the PMGC 2021 league phase. This condition apparently continued until BTR RA’s departure to Dubai to fight in the PMGC 2021 final.

“We are trying to communicate this with the organizers by bringing evidence regarding Alice’s condition. The request was finally accepted by the organizers and Liquid will certainly come to Dubai,” Isfan explained.

Thus, the five Bigetron Red Aliens players who are certain to compete in the PMGC 2021 final are Made Bagas “Zuxxy” Pramudita, Made Bagus “Luxxy” Prabaswara, Muhammad “Ryzen” Albi, Nizar “Microboy” Lugatio Pratama, and Liquid.

The final round of the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) was held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, January 21-24 2021. Another Indonesian team that qualified was Aerowolf Limax. In total, 16 teams will fight for the PMGC 2021 title.
