Agate Develops Game for Mental Health

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – Indonesian game development company and studio, Agate, collaborated with certified therapist from the United States, Amanda Earle, MA, LAC, LPC in developing a short course content. This course was published on the gamification-based platform, Levio, with the title “Calm Amidst Chaos: How to Cope with Uncertainty”.

This course is designed as an alternative to self-therapy with easy access via a smartphone. Users will be regularly guided to perform various activities that aim to get to know their emotions more deeply without having to physically meet face to face.

“Looking at our own team and the loss of our extended hours from home, it’s ironic to see those of us in a business that brings joy to gaming become so mentally and emotionally drained. This is a moral obligation for us and we hope that with this trial we can continue to apply our resources and expertise to content that can really help people,” said Agate CMO and CCO, Sahut Igor Tanzil, in a written statement quoted Saturday (19/19). /12/2021).

To access this course, users can download the Levio application via the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. This “Calm Amidst Chaos: How to Cope with Uncertainty” course can be accessed in Indonesia, Singapore, the United States, England and also Europe. Both Levio and this course can be downloaded and accessed for free.
