GridGames.ID – The missing and unreleased Game Boy add-on known as WorkBoy has been found after 28 years.

And it turns out that the tool reveals accessories that can provide the Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) function.

Yep, WorkBoy turns out to be an additional tool that can be used to write addresses, calculators, books, and more through Nintendo’s favorite handheld platform.

Reported from IGN, video game historian, Liam Robertson, then shares his knowledge to find out what happened with an additional tool or feature called WorkBoy.

Robertson not only tracked down the original creator behind WorkBoy to learn the story behind why the platform was never released, he also managed to get his hands on the only prototype in the world that is still working. Goks!

As you can see in the image above, WorkBoy is a keyboard that connects to the Game Boy via a link cable and lets you take advantage of 12 additional apps.

The Work Boy itself is designated as an officially licensed accessory for the Game Boy, designed by Source Research and Development.

The device is manufactured by Fabtek Inc, with which the company works closely with Nintendo.
