Valde Becomes the Fifth Member of Team North
The Counter Strike Global Offensive team named North closed their team break in August 2021 with the addition of new members. Valde became the fifth member of Team North after more than two weeks, their team only had four members.

Their fifth member is Valdemar “valde” Bjørn Vangså. He is a former star of Heroic. He came in to replace Emil “Magisk” Reif who came from Denmark. Magisk itself is still officially an active member of North. However, he is waiting for a transfer purchase from the OpTic Gaming team, in which the truth of this information has been confirmed.
The news about Magisk’s fate came a week after the North team obtained Legend status at the PGL Major international tournament which took place in Krakow, Poland. Team North led by Mathias “MSL” Lauridsen only reached the quarterfinals after being defeated by Virtus Pro. Magisk based on the history of the North team is the leading star of this team. He used to be at the top of the scoreboard when he played for team North, but this year his form has slumped.
The member changes that occurred in the North CSGO team followed a rumor stating that the team had internal problems. In the end, Magisk became a backup. It’s possible that adding valde will ease the problem for the North team. With regards to his arrival, Valde revealed that he will make a positive difference.
“I’m ready to play and make a positive difference in the team,” said Valde. Valde himself has trained with other members of the North team on several occasions. The current list of North team members consists of Mathias “MSL” Lauridsen, Rene “cajunb” Borg, Kristian “k0nfig” Wienecke, Philip “aizy” Aistrup, and Valde.
Valde’s first official match with team North will take place from 30 August to 3 September 2021 at DreamHack Malmö.
