The Ultimatest Battle was released by independent French games studio Ediogames on Steam on September 12, 2021, with the announcement of the release taking place in Paris.

In the “UB” universe, players play small characters, called “Nubs”, who have various weapons depending on the character class. As the characters progress as the game progresses, each “Nub” gradually builds up its arsenal, increasing the level of strategy of the game where weapon choice becomes crucial.

The Ultimate Battle Mode

In this Steam game The Ultimatest Battle, players compete as teams in various game modes in a 2D environment:

Normal Mode

• DeathMatch (DM): Victory goes to whichever team can kill the most in 5 minutes.
• Control Point (CP): Occupy control points and maintain your position.
• Attack – Defense (CPS): Capture and defend three control points.
• Save The Princess (STP): Hunt down enemy princesses and or protect your own Princess.
• Double Princess (DP): Defeat enemy princesses while defending your own princess.
• Arena (ARN): Deathmatch with a limited number of lives.

Special Mode

• Zombie Mode (ZM): Erase the infected!
• Randomizer (WTF): In this mode, you are assigned a character of a random class with randomly selected equipment.
• Versus Boss (VSB): Fight against a boss or play as a boss.
• Harvest (HAR): Collect the most resources and bring them back to your base.
• Roulette ($$$): Three special rules added to the rules of other game modes, for always richer parties.
