One of the most popular FPS games in the world, Call of Duty is rumored that the latest series will take place 30 years before the Cold War.
This was conveyed directly by the ModernWarzone Twitter account, one of the trusted twitter users regarding rumors or leaks related to Call of Duty.
Call of Duty 2021 will reportedly be set in the 1950s.
The Korean War started in 1950 so good chance it will be based around that.

Through his Twitter account he said that the latest entry Call of Duty (COD) will be set in the 1950s. Where that era became the Korean War took place.
Korea’s role which lasted for 3 years (1950-1953) caused conflicts not only to involve South Korea and North Korea, but also major countries such as the Soviet Union, the United States, and China.
Previously, the last few COD series took historical backgrounds such as the Vietnam War and the Second World War. And regarding these rumors, it makes sense that Activision is interested in adapting the historical conflict story into game form.
Although the ModernWarzone Twitter account has a fairly accurate record of the Call of Duty (COD) leak. However, until this article was published there was no clear evidence to confirm or refute the news.
Activision, as the publisher, has not provided any information for the latest series. So, let’s wait for further news.
